For those of us who think cultural issues are as important as any other in conservatism, I loved seeing the Canadian government chuck aside Labour's old "maritime command, air command", etc, and bring back the old service names... Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, etc. Canadian liberals growled long and loud about it... "return to imperialism", and all that rot... but most Canadians seem fine with it.
