If Jimmy Carter doesn't put Barack Obama on his Christmas card list, he will be forever marked as an insufferable ingrate with a funny accent. Carter gave us the Ayatollah and the Red Army on the move. But under the drab, sickly stewardship of President Obama, where allies are treated like enemies and enemies are treated like allies, anti-American sentiment abroad and at home is making unprecedented headway.
Just how do we explain our response to a mob of savages who scale the walls of our embassy, pull down our flag and rip it to shreds, replacing it with a hideous black flag that says, "There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger"? The proximate cause of the unhinged brigades? What else? A film that depicts Mohammed in less than flattering light.
You see, mass murder, forced child marriage, the slaughter of Christians, the dehumanization and brutal subjugation of women, that's just another day at the office for these lunatics. They can wade in innocent blood clear up to their armpits, drink it with their breakfast, bathe in it, serve it over ice cream and be just as happy as any garden variety idiot. They can send their children out to blow themselves to bits, and take lunch over the carnage. But what excites their considerable and irredeemably dumb rage? Cartoons. Pictures. Films. Anything that offends their infantile hypersensitivity regarding their esteemed prophet.
And, having seen our embassy and flag defiled, how does the brave American President respond? The Obama administration, who bullies it's own citizens with heavily armed administrative agencies, issued the following statement:
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
Did you get that? We condemn the people who offended these cretins,….not the cretins. Pardon me, but just what in the hell is happening to our country? Is this the inheritance purchased at Normandy? Bunker Hill? Khe Sanh? Brave men risked their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor so that an American President could grovel with this pathetic, weak-kneed, sickly, statement? What a despicable statement of historical ignorance and what an awful confession of outright cowardice!
In Britain, a girl of 12 is married off to a grown man because, well, that's how things are done in that religion and it must be respected. Also in Britain, a teacher in a mosque admitted abusing the children, using beatings and torture positions on them. The British judge explained that the teacher had an, "outdated understanding of what discipline is," and since the teacher had gained, "no gratuitous satisfaction" from the abuse, the teacher got no jail time.
In Pakistan, a young Christian lady with Downs Syndrome faces the death penalty over blasphemy charges. They say she burned some pages from the infernal Koran, though a local imam has also been arrested for framing the girl. These are the same practitioners of the religion of peace who tortured and killed an 11 year old Christian boy, and then cut his nose, ears and stomach out before dumping the body.
Dark forces gather and surround Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu requests a meeting with the American President as Iran proceeds inexorably toward a nuclear weapon, and the American President can't be distracted from his campaign schedule to honor the request? Precious time passes, and the administration offers only words and more words. Words that only encourage Iran and endanger our allies. The Prime Minister replies that "Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don't have a moral right to place a red light before Israel." The Prime Minister speaks plain truth, which is a foreign language to our President. Jimmy Carter was a buffoon. Barack Obama is dangerous. And he's practicing assisted suicide on the west.
