You know, in the wake of the Mavi Marmara fiasco, I distinctly recall a flood of criticism about the way the Israelis handled the situation along the lines of, "Why didn't they do something more intelligent than that? Why did they have to kill people? Come on, they're clever Jews, they could have figured out a better solution than that--why didn't they do something shrewd, like sabotaging the ships?"
Well, those people are still complaining.

Not to mention all the other shipping in the Eastern Mediterranean. I can't imagine you not having an H.L Mencken turn, running up the Jolly Roger, and all the rest. God help peaceful seafarers then!

I couldn't agree more, and I would add that there are no "innocent bystanders" at sea.
Perhaps Israel could attract some sympathy from the bleeding hearts of the left if they used jewish children for human shields.
