You Asked For It: Say Hello To The Ricochet Member Super Feed
We do a lot of podcasts at Ricochet and each show has to be subscribed to individually. In fact, that's one of our most oft-requested features: please put all of the podcasts -- free and premium-- into one feed. Well, Ricochet members, we (well, more accurately Busy System Administrator) heard your cries and responded. Today we debut the Ricochet Member Super Feed. If you're a member (and and iTunes user), simply click here. For you more independent types, copy and paste this link into your podcatcher software. You will need your Ricochet login info to complete the process.
One final note: After completing this process, you should delete the individual show feeds, otherwise you'll get duplicates of all of our content. If you ever need to resubscribe, simply click on the links under the Super Feed headline on the right sidebar. Problems? Email us at support@ricochet.com and we'll be happy to help you out.

Thanks so much -- this makes keeping up with all the good stuff much easier and cleaner.
One additional tip: perhaps you could add the name of the podcast (e.g. Ricochet Podcast, Young Guns, etc.) into the 'Description' text that appears in iTunes so we know which podcast is which when they're being loaded. Right now most of them simply mention guest names and topics.

This does not work on Stitcher. We are working on getting the premium podcasts on there and hope to have something to announce about that shortly.

I'll think about this. I understand what you're asking for, the problem is that it makes it hard to tell who's on what show in a glance. We might try changing our titling convention though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Has anybody managed to get this (or any of the other premium podcast RSS feeds) to work with gPodder? When I try to add the feed it pops up a box requesting a user name and password as you'd expect, but when I enter the login I use to access Ricochet, it thinks for a few seconds and then reports "http://ricochet.com/podcast/allfeeds: Authentication failed". The unprotected Ricochet podcast works fine with gPodder.
I am using gPodder 2.14 on Ubuntu Linux 11.04 (kernel 2.6.38-11-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP x86_64).
