Perhaps you missed the heartwarming story about how the Bishop of London (that's the third most senior member of the Church of England) has endorsed the erection of a memorial in St Paul's Cathedral in honor of the soap-dodging crusty agitators from Occupy who camped there from summer until it started getting a bit cold.

But that's OK here's another, similarly charming tale to brighten your day.

What about this heartwarming story about a sex offender finding love at Occupy Boston?

Great Moments in British History (in order of importance):

1. Magna Carta

2. Trafalgar

3. Waterloo

4. Occupy St. Paul's

5. Battle of Britain

6. Normandy Invasion

etc

By action of the hierarchy of the C of E, Churchill's immortal line:  "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" has now been officially transferred from no. 5 to no. 4 above.

I suppose you could credit current policy for millions of yobs created or saved.

"Soap-dodging."  What a brilliant phrase.  Thanks, James!

It speaks loudly of the disparaging things you expose on your podcast - which I thoroughly enjoy by the way  - but I also liked this one Contractors fined £6,500 after worker falls seven metres which was on the same page. It struck me how the government stepped in to provide justice, the contractor was fined by and has been set on the proper path by the government, the worker was ,no doubt treated at a government healthcare facility and we are tripping over ourselves here in America to emulate your "occupied territory". Keep up the good fight James.

It's becoming harder to tell the difference between the UK and US.

This must be the fundamental change of which Mr Obama spoke so eloquently.

Setting Guinness records for public defecation require a tremendous amount of dedication that the faint of heart do not possess.

Here's a small example of the declining standards of journalistic writing and review, pulled from the story:

"Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday he prevented staff from tending too their patients as he became aggressive when being discharged the following morning."

Our language is the true treasure of our culture. I certainly wish it was treated with greater respect.
