Who is the Greater Buffoon?

Here is a question that needs an answer. Who is the greater buffoon -- Stephen Colbert who brought Comedy Central to the halls of Congress to the glee of Nancy Pelosi and her minions, or Joe Biden, who promises that the Democrats will retain their majority in both houses of Congress?

Biden of course. Colbert is payed to be a jackass. With Biden, it's just a side effect.

Re: Who is the Greater Buffoon?
This has to be a trick question. Biden ist immer the greater buffoon at any gathering of village idiots. The loveable lug.
I'd put Pelosi and whoever invited him far ahead of Colbert in the buffoon stakes anyway. He's just doing his job. Which isn't really funny at a Congressional hearing or a Correspondents Dinner. The chemistry of the character only works on his own show.

Let me get this straight, Biden's not pretending? That can't be right.

Re: Who is the Greater Buffoon?
In top-down order of buffoonery: 1) Colbert's fans, 2) the House Democrat Caucus, 3) Vice President Biden, and 4) Colbert. At least Colbert knows how wealth is created.

Biden.

The troops actually like both of them. Not with quite the enthusiasm that they greet Dubya or the Divine Sarah, but with genuine liking, as contrasted with the cooler, more dutiful reception of Obama.
You gotta admit, Colbert in Afghanistan, having Biden dressed as a stadium vendor handing out good American hot dogs, was pretty cool.

One's a smart guy who creates wealth and jobs pretending to be a clown -- the other is a clown who pretends to be a smart guy while destroying wealth and jobs.

Re: Who is the Greater Buffoon?
I'm going to say Colbert. Biden is the buffoon who gives everyday. Colbert ought to be smart enough to avoid the real political world, where he has nothing to win, and everything to lose. Celebrities who try to weigh in on real issues only embarrass themselves.

Re: Who is the Greater Buffoon?
Seriously?
It has to be Biden.
Colbert was a perfect distraction from the real business taking place in Washington yesterday as Coats Testified about the J.D.'s Racist Attitudes and execution of policy to the detriment of genuine victims.
I'm sorry, but I don't se a perfectly executed manoever of Bait and Switch as Baffoonery.

Colbert has officially peaked.

Has Biden ever been right about anything? It's like he's got "contrarian disease."

Re: Who is the Greater Buffoon?
The stupidity is profound, It is also revealing. In this year, to think that the clever move would be to bring in a snarky, sarcastic comedian to tell the American people that they are just plain idiots in their attitudes towards illegal immgration is beyond stupidity. Sure, it plays with the wannabe hip young yuppie crowd, but there not really what this year is about, is it?
Can't blame Colbert, he's a huckster in search of a game. Pelosi and Reid, on the other hand, they're supposed to know how this all works. Idiots!

Poor Joe Biden. He thinks the rest of the world loves him as much as he loves himself. Talk about delusional!
