Whitman's Most Effective Ad - Did Anyone Actually See It?

This is the most effective ad in the Brown-Whitman campaign I have seen. The fact that this, according to the polls, hasn't been able to turn people around here is testament to just how moon-batty this state is...and how unimpressive a candidate Meg Whitman is.

Re: Whitman's Most Effective Ad - Did Anyone Actually See It?
We elected the President of the United States on the basis of no experience or plan. Why should the governorship of California be any different?
Re: Whitman's Most Effective Ad - Did Anyone Actually See It?
I beg to differ. I think he (along with Pelosi and Reid) had a very clear plan. He just didn't tell us what it was. The fact that he had no experience just made him a better hand puppet for Pelosi and Reid.)

Anyone who didn't know who Obama was and what he believed wasn't paying attention. That's sort of forgivable.
Then there were those who saw what he was but chose to be blind because, well, he was historic and maybe, just maybe, he meant all that stuff about bi-partisanship and post-racial politics. That was delusional.
Finally, there were those who saw who he was and greeted him as the culmination of their political dreams. That's Marxism.

I simply cannot vote for Whitman today. What a nothing. What a rotten campaign.

Esquire says both Angle's and Reid's internal polls show Harry winning by 7.

You'll have to pardon Kenneth. No one has let him out of his cage for a while and he's itching to blow something up.

Re: Whitman's Most Effective Ad - Did Anyone Actually See It?
You obviously don't live in California. We've been watching $165 million of nothing for a year. A woman who transparently believes in nothing but being inoffensive enough to win. A woman who offers nothing but platitudes. A woman who was against a "....dangerous, job-killing" Climate Change law, but who then refused to support the ballot Proposition that would suspend it.
This is a woman who rhapsodized over Van Jones. Who contributed $5,000 to Barbara Boxer. Who never registered as a Republican until she decided to run, never voted.
Yeah, a whole lot of nothing there.

One of the many things I like about you, Kenneth, is your ability to... well... say it like it is. I don't always like it. But, you've got a point about Meg. However, I am wishing she will win. I'm also wishing Christine O'Donnell wins. And deep down, I have a teeny spark of hope for a Sarah Palin presidency. Just because.

Now, now, Kenneth. Don't incur the wrath of any contributor to this site that might actually be running that campaign or risk the charge of being a chubby beer-guzzler sitting in (his) underwear eating Sun Chips out of those noisy bags.

Very well said, veritas quidem. If Meg Whitman were anything other than a nothing who wants to win by being inoffensive, she would have run this ad months ago.
Take it from a former California resident - 1949 to 2000 - it's a tragically failed state. Bankruptcy and a complete reorganization of finances under the aegis of the courts is the only way out. The voters are largely deluded beyond reason.

Yeah, JD, I've been clinching my teeth on that one. But I think you get my drift, around the edges.

Re: Whitman's Most Effective Ad - Did Anyone Actually See It?
Sad thing is, California voters are angry enough and frightened enough that they would have supported a GOP candidate who could tap into their anxiety, tell it like it is and show some spine.
Instead, she's deliberately come across like a kindergarten teacher on thorazine.
