Where Negative Campaigns Lead

Sorry to be focused on campaign strategy, but Jim Treacher over at The Daily Caller points out the latest bumper sticker from the Democratic Party:
He came up with his own version:
Being a libertarian who generally finds myself opposed to one or both of the parties on most issues, I kind of like where this could go. You want to take it from here, EJ?

Re: Where Negative Campaigns Lead
I like the dog-eating sticker because it is part of an Alinsky-ite tactic being used very effectively against Mr Obama - ridicule.
I think we will see this being increasingly used throughout the campaign, by the Twitter-based Tea Party (Prof Reynolds calls 'em the army of Davids) and it will confound Rob's doom-and-gloom prediction of an unassailable, charismatic, incumbent.
Breitbart is here.

Treacher understands the essential thing: It's not so much fun for Democrats when we push back.
So keep pushing back - hard!
Don't debate people who hold you in contempt. Instead insult them. Mock them. Ridicule them.
The reward is that they will become gun-shy and hesitant. Doubt me? Let's see if the Democrats keep talking about Seamus now.

How About "Not A Recipient of Obama $$ " ?
( you realize that Timmy Geithner went to school in Bangkok, so some choice Lassie /Timmy jokes should be on the menu )

Re: Where Negative Campaigns Lead
I love the note that this was the Dutch flag, suggesting that they were denying even being American. I'd like to add to that the fact that although the Dutch Republic (from whence I got my surname, ~400 years ago) was a key model for English freedom, and later for America, the Kingdom of the Netherlands is definitely not a republic today.

Here's an issue I've not heard discussed. Every dog I've ever known loves to stick his head out the window even at high speeds. I've gotta think old Seamus was in dog heaven.

Re: Where Negative Campaigns Lead
That was my first thought when I heard the story. Also, up north I see dogs in the beds of pick up trucks all the time on rural highways. What Romney did does not strike me as cruel in the least.

Mark Belling Fan and tabula rasa:
If you're explaining, you're losing.
The lesson remains - Attack!
People stop doing things that they enjoy and from which they benefit only when doing those things starts to hurt. Democrats enjoy heaping contempt on our politics and our leaders. They gain with the disinterested middle by creating the perception of their intellectual or moral superiority.
Don't debate. Push back. Hurt them. After all, how do you stop a bully?
