I liked the vid, but Scott Brown may just well be an exemplar of what we will get after today's election. "The price if liberty is eternal vigilance...."

I think the fact that the Ricochet website is willing to feature ads for Kamala Harris is the only reply you need to the "What liberals think about conservatives" video. Liberals think conservatives are evil and need to be silenced. Conservatives believe that liberals don't understand the real world implications of progressive governmental policies, but we are willing to discuss them.

What a great honor it is to be here now, engaged in this work, participating in America's Great Awakening. For too long we slept, and allowed tyrannical forces amongst us to increase.
But as Winston Churchill said, "It's when the dark comes down that the stars shine".

As the system architect I can tell you that's not how it works. Ads are largely selected by our third-party ad provider's secret algorithms, which take into account things like the content of the page and the location of the viewer. We do have a veto on certain kinds of ads, but we have mainly used it to remove tasteless ads that don't fit the nature of our site. We don't mind running political ads for the opposition, though we'd prefer to run ads for our side; so your larger point still stands.
As to the video, it is liberals who are quite demonstrably ignorant of our history and of human nature. Liberals in academia have built up a set of memes that "refute" (in their minds) the views of the past; and over time, this has allowed them to essentially dismiss and ignore the past and build their own version of it. As a result, by now they have essentially forgotten large swaths of our history and even of reality in general.

Hmmm...I keep getting ads for an alcohol rehab in Napa County.
Can they look through my webcam?

No - they're picking up on all your drinking jokes. That'll teach you. Under ObamaCare, your drinking costs me tax dollars!

Re: What Should We Think Regarding Liberals?
Busy System Admin -- Thanks for the insight into how your advertisements worked. I figured that it was something similar to what you described. I even imagined that the third party ad provider might "peek" at cookies currently active in my browser like Amazon or Google do, and that this prompted the Kamala ad.
Regardless, as you state, the broader point stands. The ad appeared in my window, both because the subject matter of the post prompted it (or my own searches) and the fact that the powers that be didn't block it.
I for one appreciate that a little of Kamala's campaign money went toward paying for conservatives chatting.
