More and more people are asking the question. I would be surprised if we actually get an answer from Team Obama this late into the campaign, with only a little more than two weeks left before the election.

Nowadays, all we are getting from the president and his campaign are lame cracks about “Romnesia.” This is what the Leader of the Free World is reduced to; stale wannabe-zingers that would make anyone with an actual sense of humor despairingly contemplate the possibility that the art of the funny is about to go the way of the dinosaur. Meanwhile, people continue to be insecure about their individual economic situations and American foreign policy has taken a beating as a result of the attack in Benghazi. They deserve better than to have an incumbent president and his re-election team who think that bad jokes can replace a second term agenda and assuage concerns about the country going down the wrong track.

I think the jokes and snark are aimed mostly at young voters. Obama desperately needs a high youth turnout, as in 2008.

We do know he said he wants to bring back the Clinton Gun Ban. In fact, that's the only specific I can think of.

A pointless question. Any answer will be lies and more lies.

Beside, we already know what his agenda is - to destroy America as we know it.

If you want to be like Greece, vote Obama.

Well said. The Democrats tried to demonize Romney's business record, which, once the facts were out, was quite exemplary.  They've tried the dog on the car, the tax returns, the Massachusetts record, the "Mitt is a robot" narrative, and on and on.

Now they're left with bad jokes and empty gestures.

Two problems for Obama:

  1. The Incumbent's Dilemma: if it's such a good idea, why didn't you propose it before?
  2. Blaming Republicans: If the reason you couldn't succeed was that there was opposition, and that opposition isn't going away, then you can't expect any different results.

That's why Obama has to make the absurd claim that if he's elected, the Republicans will stop opposing him. It's astonishingly stupid, but that's all they're left with.

I'm glad that Obama is finally getting some pressure on this.  Romney/Ryan are heckled constantly about not providing enough details (including Raddatz's asinine "So, no specifics." comment to Ryan in the debate).

Meanwhile, Obama hasn't even put forth plans let alone specifics.   And, it's all been okay.  Well, if people are finally starting to notice this hypocrisy, better late than never.

It is an important question that he should answer. It puts him into a position for others to ask, " How are YOU going to pay for that?" He will talk in platitudes and it will be his undoing.  He may say something like... we will build a high speed train across America  or build new schools and etc..  It is a losing proposition for him either way.

1. Issue papers to all citizens and force people in red states to show them whenever we leave our assigned districts.

2. Assign red-state rich people to blue inner-city districts.

3. Confiscate all wealth from wealthy people in red states.

4. Close every coal mine, oil well, and fracking operation in the U.S.

5. Nationalize and unionize every service and manufacturing industry.

6. Flatten the nearest industrial park to 1600 Pennsylvania and install a golf course.

7. Make Michelle the czar of hospital public relations for the entire nation.

8. Force all publicly funded schools, including those that receive money through federally-subsidized student loans and Pell grants, to stop serving meat of any kind.

9. Hand Israel and Taiwan to their enemies in return for assurances that terrorist attacks will cease and they'll keep lending us money.

10. Outlaw religion outside of their official places of worship, except for atheism: some religions are more equal than others, after all.

Now, Obama won't say any of this, but his buddy Chris Rock has assured us that in a second term, Obama's going gangsta ... and I believe he's right.

I expect a second term to be "lather, rinse, repeat": selective enforcement of the laws, continued expansion of the regulatory regime, government by executive order and bureaucratic fiat, and a foreign policy based on sucking up to our enemies and insulting our friends. Naturally, the cult of personality would continue undiminished.

I do wonder what upheavals would occur in the cabinet. How much longer would the court eunuchs be willing to hang around watching the wreck before they started running for the exits and publishing  their "it wasn't my fault" memoirs?

That is, banning all private transfers of firearms. No more giving your kid a .22 for Christmas.

Because we have already lost the judiciary. After the Obamacare ruling, we conservatives clearly have a 4-5 minority. I don't see how there will be much difference between Romney and Obama appointees. By nominating Romney, the Republican party has done its business, which is to try to win elections, not to advance conservatism. That party does not believe it can win with a genuine conservative, so it nominated Romney. I hope they're right about winning, but I think they're wrong about conservatism not being a winner.

Romney's obviously better than Obama (rather a low bar ol' Barry has set there) -- but the judicial appointments, which, I agree with you, are quite important -- aren't going to be helpful. Romney is going to be elected to fix the economy and give the country some pride and stature again. He's not a culture warrior, so we will only set ourselves up for disappointment by pretending that his actions outside of the economic sphere and optics from the domestic point of view will be anything conservative.

He's got an agenda, doncha know?

1) Tax the snot out of rich people (unspoken is that he won't mind taxing the middle class either)

2) Spend more on education by hiring bazillions of unionized teachers (just saw the ad for this one)

3) More windmills and unicorn farts.

Most intelligent Americans realize this.

This is why I am certain Romney is going to win.

Earning a second Nobel Peace Prize by making nice with Iran.

I daresay that it's hard to "earn" a second Nobel Peace Prize when one has done nothing to "earn" the first one.

Pretty much the same as the last two years - the debt will increase on autopilot, the military will degrade on autopilot, the Middle East will become more Islamist on autopilot, Obamacare will come into force on autopilot.

All Mr Obama has to do as President is continue playing Golf and exercise his Executive order and veto pens (even if they are machine-driven).
