Update: Service is back. But that was unnerving--for about 20 minutes, access to Facebook, Twitter, Hotmail and proxy browsers were blocked. Probably due to some kind of work on the international lines--nothing ominous at all--but it reminded me just how quickly you can slam the world shut.

Wow, Facebook blocked in Turkey? I'm glad you have your Zombie Apocalypse kit, because I'm pretty sure every Turk between 14 and 35 is going to be rioting in the streets…
