Please join me in welcoming Joshua Treviño, this week's Guest Contributor. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Joshua is the Vice President for Communications at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Preceding his work at the Foundation, Joshua founded Treviño Strategies and Media, co-founded RedState, was a speechwriter in the Administration of George W. Josh? What are you doing here? Listen, mon brave, we may not have another chance. I must write rapidly as they are watching me day and night and it is only when I perform my ablutions that I am left in peace. Yes, your letter, it reached me by courier late last night, the poor fellow almost dead from fear. It seems he traveled from Rouen to Nice by bus, and when the Germans, those swine, halted all traffic at a roadblock, they brought in loudspeakers and forced innocent passengers to listen to the complete score of Tannauseairre over and over again. Térrible. Several of the passengers, they went, how do you say it? complètement fou, one poor woman persuaded that she had become a Lorelei and singing to her captors, who laughed at her, the brutes. Our courier, he has explained that he survived by wedging pieces of Brie into his ears, a circumstance to which I can attest as they are there still. Quite runny, too. When France is again free, we shall all spit on Brie and wipe our arses on Tannauseairre! Vive la résistance!
Everyone else may ignore that message. Josh will understand.
