Chances are, you know him from Powerline. If you don't, he's a Claremont fellow, practicing attorney, and a radio talk show host. Best of all, he was Minnesota's 2005 Super Lawyer of the Year. Just to prove that Mr. Hinderaker is sufficiently eccentric to appear on Ricochet, note that not all his research revolves around politics...strike that...around legislative politics. There are other kinds of politics that fascinate him to no end. :)

What on earth is eccentric about Rocketman's annual coverage of the Miss Universe pageant? Other than, perhaps, the fact that Lorie Hinderaker doesn't seem to take umbrage over his enthusiastic photo selection.

Well, if you knew Loree you would understand why she is amused and entirely unthreatened by my occasional pageant coverage. Actually, the Miss Universe pageant is coming up in a couple of weeks, so maybe I will share a little pageant commentary here on Ricochet!
