We're delighted to welcome Gene Schwimmer as a guest contributor to the site this week. Gene is a commercial real estate broker and writer living in New York City. In the past, he has written humor pieces for The Village Voice and served as a syndicated humorist. These days, he writers frequent essays for the American Thinker.

He's also the author of the 2008 book, The Christian State: Persecution of Christians, Their Urgent Need for, and Right to, A Christian State in the Middle East. Please welcome Gene to Ricochet.
