Thanks James -- and thanks for asking me to sit in this week! Though the faqs page and the like was "the world of Ed" around 2002, and particularly just stuff I was trying to get online as fast as possible to have some content, when I was first transitioning from mostly dead tree articles (for magazines from PC World to Guitar World as I like to say, along with stops at NRO, the Weekly Standard Online, and Tech Central Station) to this new medium called "blogs -- or as "Web Logs" before all the cool kids started mashing new words together.
Needless to say, my blog at Pajamas Media has been updated a few times since the old Faqs page was written back then.

He's the only one who ever took notice of my poor, strugglin little blog back in the day. (OK, Glenn Reynolds linked to it once, but he's a Slate alum and a fellow Tennessean).
