Having already appeared as a guest on the flagship podcast earlier this summer, Ben Shapiro is no stranger to Ricochet.  But we're delighted to welcome him back to the site as this coming week's Guest Contributor!  Author of Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV, Ben argues that Hollywood players have used their power and influence to push their leftist social and political agendas over the past sixty years.  In support of his case, Ben offers up the startling and candid confessions of over 100 executives, producers, and writers, who confirm that Hollywood is biased against conservatives, and that TV programming is often consciously fashioned with underlying covert political messages.

I'll have to add Ben's new book to my list of reading!

A few years ago, I was looking to learn more about Israel, I'd been told by a leftist friend that if I thought Israel was "Just" I was reading the wrong books, so I wanted to read the right books. Ben was a columnist that I enjoyed reading, so I sent him an e-mail and asked him a good book to try to understand Israel more. Ben responded with "A Durable Peace: Israel and Its Place Among the Nations" by Benjamin Netanyahu.

I very much enjoyed reading it and just wanted to say "Thanks Ben!"

Domo!

Bienvenido,  Ben.  I have enjoyed reading you since the early Townhall days.  I did think to myself on a couple occasions "How can this young dude know so much" with not a small amount of slight envy.  I finally caught up with your bio when James recited it on the recent Podcast and I must say its nothing less than impressive.

Now if I just knew what your favorite song was I would welcome you in proper fashion.
