WAWAGate - How I Exposed MSNBC's Video Edit Smear
It's been a few days, and the news cycle has moved on to much more important things, like Eric Holder, the abuse of executive privilege, and the countdown to the Supreme Court decision on BigPHARMAcare and Arizona.
However, before all that steamrolled over my 15 minutes of fame, this happened:
For anyone who missed it, MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell aired a very deceptively edited video that smeared Mitt Romney. My spidey sense perked up while watching it, and after finding an unedited version of the event, I unraveled the deception, much to the glee of the right wing blogosphere. Eventually the story was picked up by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News. Andrea Mitchell was forced to address the deception, but offered no apology.
I thought I would share my moment in the sunshine with you fair readers at Ricochet. I hope you don't mind the bragging. [more bragging here!]

Good going Sooper, too bad Michell couldn't own up to her misleading presentation.
Yet this is a standard method for the Leftists now, make a hugely false claim to make an impact on the hoards of sound bite viewers, and any follow-up can't repair the damage.

The MSNBC now knows when they go "south of the border" what will happen. I for one am glad that bloggers have their own super hero. If you could team up with Retracto the Alpaca, news would never be the same.

I saw this break a few days ago and saw SooperMexican mentioned as the source. I scratched my head and said, "Wait a minute, is that, is that OUR SooperMexican?" Pretty cool and congrats.
