This update brought to you by our friend, Robert Stacy McCain:
3:25 p.m. ET (11:25 a.m. local) — After preliminary count of absentee ballots from Anchorage division, Joe Miller leads by a 1,325-vote margin, with 48,051 votes to 46,726 for Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Although this narrows Miller’s lead from 1,668 in Election Day results, it is being interpreted as good news by the Miller campaign, because Anchorage had generally leaned toward Murkowski. Miller’s stronghold is in the Mat-Su Valley, where preliminary results of the absentee ballot count will be repoted later today.
Chalk up another victory to Sarah Palin, kingmaker.

Re: Update on the Alaskan Senate Race
It's quite a record Sarah's compiled since she gave up the Governorship, and she's a star for a number of her qualities.
Her speech on Saturday, for example, was masterfully written and delivered. If a Democrat gave such a speech (yes, I'm prone to flights of fancy, but once there were people on the Left like that, such as Daniel Patrick Moynihan) , the Regime Media would be heralding the new John Fitzgerald Kennedy (another Dem who'd have to run as a Republican today).

Re: Update on the Alaskan Senate Race
And Murkowski has conceded, and Miller is now a Senator for Alaska!
And wait until November, and tote up Palin wins THEN!!! I am so in love with that woman...
Re: Update on the Alaskan Senate Race
There is no doubt, River, that Palin really has stacked up cred with these winning endorsements. For a LOT more, heather, here's RSM and his many updates. On a sad note, I am now unable to use my "Murkowski in Turkowski" headline.
