Liked the interview, and I really appreciated one thing especially: Stossel admits straight up that he isn't a conservative, and doesn't try to dance around the subject.

Good interview but bad advice for the kid that wants to be the "next Stossel" There's not going to be a "next" one because those who advanced John's career feel he's betrayed them.

"No They Can't" as a slogan or title is OK when you take it to mean "government can't do it well." That's theory.

What is needed now is urgent. Not "No They Can't," but "No They Mustn't."

Just as an aside, when I lived in Manhattan John Stossel was my downstairs neighbor. Still at ABC at the time, he was a bit shy, unassuming, with no star turns (unlike some of the other celebrities in the building who never let you forget they were "important"). As decent a man as you would ever want to meet, with a lovely family. I wished him well then and now.
