The narrative to come out of the Obama campaign this past week was that Romney and Ryan are (a) extremists, despite their very reasonable and moderate sounding plans, and (b) liars, because they manage to make their extremist schemes sound very reasonable and moderate.

Joe Biden —or "Uncle Joe" as he's come to be known (no joke. Google it)— was sent into tonight's debate to make points a and b over and over and over again.  In support of his mission, he grinned and laughed a lot. It was exceedingly creepy and inappropriate— especially when he laughed during the segment concerning Ambassador Steven's death.  Capturing that creepiness is the RNC's quick video spot of the night:

Bob Hope used to refer to Joe Stalin as Uncle Joe.  Biden would think he's in good company.

This is based on the after action reports.  I haven't reviewed the battle footage yet.

VP debates are scouting expeditions in this Ryan succeeded by engaging the enemy, not exposing a weak flank, and retreating in good order with intelligence for the main battle.   Joe Bidden on the other hand exposed a exploitable flank on Benghazi, over extended a weak force on, and is pressing an attack on uncertain terrain.  This will either be seen as bold or foolhardy depending on the following battle.

Uncle Joe is rude and all that, but ultimately he comes off as really creepy.  Great video.

I didn't see the debate; I heard the first twenty minutes or so on the radio but, that said, this clip makes "uncle Joe" look as if he's laughing at at some private joke that's being told to him by the friend only he can see.

Perfect! Great ad. Love the last line. Of all the people in the world Biden can choose to model after, he picked Al Gore.

Biden and Obama don't seem to realize that an unfiltered forum makes them look bad. They are good at preaching to the choir and knocking down straw men but come off as smug and out of touch to people not already convinced. If there is one thing Romney Ryan have going for them is seriousness on the issues. Let's face it Obama Biden are not men of substance and will always look bad when in the same room with those who are.

Good ad.  Uncle Joe sobers up when the August results are worse than July's.  It's taking Joe too long to get serious!

I got to see ten minutes of the re-run in Fox News this morning (I live in the UK). What a clown this uncle Joe is. And what a liar. How can he talk with a straigth face about Social Security benefits for 2o year olds when everybody knows there won't be a Social Security by then. And laughing about what happened in Libya and what is going on in Iran, I am sorry I just can see how anybody in the Cosmos would like to vote again to this dude and Mr Empty Chair, I just can't.

The thing here is that we can see the future of the US all over Europe. This is not a theoretical exercise. There is proof; solid-hard facts about what these absurd leftist policies do to a country. And Europe has the US to pay for its defence... This thought just remind me when Mr Clown said in the debate that the JCS told them they wanted a smaller Army... And the Intelligence community told them it was just a protest... Its always somebody else's fault with these buffoons, isn't it?

This would be more effective if they put timecodes on both sides.

I think the average viewer thinks there is no way this could be true.
