For those of you who are actually out living your lives on a Saturday, a quick news break:
- Herman Cain just wrapped up a press conference in Atlanta announcing that he is suspending (read: ending) his presidential campaign.
- Cain continues to deny all allegations of personal impropriety. He said that he was at peace with God, his family, and his wife Gloria, who was on stage with him and seemed vehemently supportive of him rather than scorned.
- Cain said he does not plan to leave the public stage, but is instead starting an organization focused on policy solutions, through which he will keep up his role as a political advocate.
- The next place this story goes -- Cain mentioned in the coda that he will be issuing an endorsement in the presidential race shortly.
Now back to your regularly scheduled weekend.
