UN Priorities

Those of you who've read my posts over the last few days will understand why I found the first half of this headline so...how shall I put it? "Irksome," I suppose. The timing was probably accidental, but the crassness of it in view of recent events is remarkable.
This, by the way, is exactly the kind of thing that native Israelis manage to ignore completely and that drives immigrants like me bananas.

Re: UN Priorities
You know, I had a headline-free day: I'd forgotten to charge my phone before I went out, and I didn't look at the news all day. And I feel so much better for it.

Actually, the opening acronym is enough to irk me.

Re: UN Priorities
When one looks at the list of member countries involved in this farce, it is obvious that the name of the group is an oxymoron.

Re: UN Priorities
It says they had a referendum, but condemn it (without explanation)? That was barely mentioned at all, but it seems like a big chunk of the picture.
