Very sad news.  One of my favorite reads.  He will be missed.

A great line used to introduce him less than 2 months ago aboard the NR cruise , where he was featured , was that he possessed one of the most unique accents in America , that and a clear view . RIP

Thanks for posting, KC. I read this earlier and wondered if Tony Blankley was a friend of Peter's, given he worked in the Reagan White House. It's a blow to conservatives on both sides of The Pond, I would think.

This is sad news. He was a treasure and immensely appealing.

I so admired his moral force and clarity in argument!  I hadn't known he was sick.  May God grant him eternal rest, and console his poor wife and children.

If I saw his byline, I always read the article. If I saw his face on TV, I dared not change the channel until after I had heard him say his peace. That's how  clear his conservative voice was for me. All good thoughts and prayers for his family.

In his honor, perhaps the editors might consider adding a link to The Washington Times in the "Sites We Like" section.

He will be missed. Prayers for his family will be on God's ear today.

I always admired his wit and insight, but most of all his jovial spirit.  God bless you Mr. Blankley for all you did to make our world a better place.  May your family and friends find solace in their fine memories of you.
