Douglas Murray (read his new book Bloody Sunday: Truths, Lies and the Saville Inquiry) joins James Delingpole for a conversation that name checks everyone from David Cameron to David Bowie to a bunch of British conservatives we've never heard of. Then, James and Douglas ponder the implications of Israel becoming an oil power, the personal dynamics of the Rolling Stones, James channels his inner Jimmy Page, and tells us more about Mick Jagger than we probably need to know. Rock on!

Re: Toffs and Knobs
Where would I be without Radio Delingpole? Without James, I would never have learned the phrase "Baby-chewing Nazi." I'll be sure to use it among the bien-pensant.

I second Peter Schiff. Also, George Selgin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeIljifA8Ls&list=UUTDBBcNcuVZjPg223ka357Q&index=9&feature=plcp
George Selgin's voice would be nice on the program, definitely not "plinky-plonky in Z-minor."
My top choice, however, would be Dr. Johnson. If you could bring him back, that would be an interesting show.

GREAT podcast!
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. I do feel as if Yeti cheated, a bit, by winding out with Stairway to Heaven. What, no chance for a rebuttal by Mr. Murray? I considered trying to record, upload, etc., some Benjamin Britten, but thankfully found this, which is a fair sampling of the Great Britten!

Christopher Hitchens (would be at least as interesting as David Cameron or Harry Reid)

Niall Ferguson, Geert Wilders, Baron George Carey, perhaps even Archbishop John Sentamu.

If you can book Christopher Hitchens , James, you will be Lord Delingpole in no time. Dr. Johnson believed in an afterlife, but to bring Hitch back for a review of the accommodations would be very special indeed.

Oh my god! the music bit was soooo funny! Almost made me forget the impending doom resulting in the fall of the current western civilization...
