Nothing says Thanksgiving quite like American greatness and grope-happy holiday travel. Now, thanks to our good friends at PJTV, you can tune in as I chew over the former with the NYT's Ross Douthat and the latter with the Washington Examiner's J.P. Freire. More thrills than a Pats/Lions game!

"More fun than a New England/Liions game"? Are you nuts? A great game. Tom Brady - even with the goofy mat of ridiculousnes on his noggin - provided a remarkable and immensely entertaining display of football prowess.

Ack! I know! Spoke too soon, like any football fan born in the greater Detroit metropolitan area. The Lions duly managed to fulfill their great obligation today -- giving TV-watching Americans an entertaining football game. Do that, and a win or a loss -- for the Lions, anyway -- hardly matters...
