Just in case you didn't know, the Ricochet Colorado Meetup happened today - it was certainly better-attended that even I could have anticipated. Mollie and Mark (Mr. Mollie, as he called himself) Hemingway were in attendance as well, and a good time was had all around. Now if we could just figure out the mystery of the Mollie Hemingway bar tab... Pictures please!

Thanks for putting this together Majestyk! It was great fun, and I feel I got to know many Ricochet members personally, even if I still only know them by their Ricochet handles! (Props to you, Dean, for the quick changeover).
And I got a hug from Mollie Hemingway!

Mama's yellow pills was a hit... especially with Molly and Mr. Molly.
This was really a great meetup. Lotsa fun and an few arguments/misunderstandings. Can't wait to do it again.

I'm feeling nostalgic about Colorado. When we lived there in the mid-1990s, my oldest son's storied football career began in Castle Rock, home of Douglas County High School (whose most famous alumnus is Mollie Hemingway). My son went to a different high school, but the stadium at DC was where we played most of our games.
The rest of the story: his career ended there. He was a good player but had neither college size nor speed.
I'm jealous I wasn't there.

I think that Mollie is at least as responsible for this as I was. I was flattered that people recognized my name and handle. I believe there are other photos, so hopefully they'll come to light.

We were speculating that a free month or two for the party who picked up the bill might be in the offing...
I certainly hope that the food, drink and atmosphere were worthy representations of The Rock, and hopefully good enough for a return.
