The Really Real Housewives of New Jersey

If someone's not careful, my home state's going to get a bad reputation:
Five people say "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast members "brutally and savagely beat, kicked, punched, scratched, jumped on and smashed glass on the heads" of two men who came to the aid of a family member, and that Bravo Media encourages its cast to "drink excessive amounts of alcohol" while filming, knowing it will lead to fights.
I am shocked, shocked that any t.v. show would ever encourage its cast to drink excessive amounts of alcohol while filming, knowing it will lead to fights.

Re: The Really Real Housewives of New Jersey
Whenever I, a real housewife of New Jersey, and my real New Jersey housewife friends get together and consume great quantities of alcohol we have a grand old time with lots of laughs and not a single punch thrown. You can't blame it on alcohol with the crowd Bravo has dredged up for this nightmare of a show.

When it comes to setting new cultural lows in America, nothing surprises me anymore.

In vino veritas indeed, Potato Gal. Angry drunks are not nice people at heart.
Alcohol also seems to exacerbate Snooki's inner ear problem. Poor girl can't walk out of a bar without injury, though that's possibly because the sun is in her eyes.

They're all actors on those shows acting a part. It's loosly scripted through suggestion.

Well, the Manzo family is real. They've run the Brownstone for years and are regular Nordstroms shoppers. They come across as the most sane of the bunch. Granted, it's not a high benchmark.
