The Heritage Foundation Slaps the Administration Around

I consider the Heritage Foundation's production of this video -- chronicling the Obama Administration's mix of mendacity and rank incompetence in the wake of the Benghazi attack -- to be nothing short of a national service. How I'd love for this to be turned into an ad airing during the foreign policy debate at the end of this month:

Yes they lied. We all know it.
What infuriates me is that there has been no retaliation. No response. At the end of the day, all they're going to say, yes, this was a terrorist attack.
And ... what ... do ... you ...plan ...to do ...about it?
Because unless you do something about it ... this won't be the last one.

That is a powerful indictment of a mendacious administration.
Dead Americans=bumps in the road=sickening.
Is anyone ever fired in this administration?

I would rather those "bumps in the road" be Obama's career than what they most obviously are -- the graves of innocents.

One of the reasons I have chosen to contribute to Heritage since 2006.
We don't talk enough about this great organization on Ricochet.

"We at the Presidential Debate Commission do not consider this ad appropriate and forbid its inclusion within 1/2 hour before, during or within 1/2 hour after the debate broadcast on any station carrying our feed..."
Or something.

I listened to part of the house hearings today, when they were pinning down that Lamb idiot.
The most passionate and powerful government hearings I have ever heard.

That's a powerful video. The CNN reporters and anchors aren't buying it, either.

Is this coverup worse than Watergate?
As I recall, no one was killed during Watergate.....

Boy, the American public was sure smart giving authority to the likes of Obama, Clinton, Rice & co., weren't they?
Sorry, America; this is on you, too.

And no one was asphyxiated on American territory and left to die with little or no security.

This line of argument needs to be a key point in the debate on foreign policy.

Re: The Heritage Foundation Slaps the Administration Around
A piece of America is dead when the Commander in Chief, Secretary of State and a string of other executives refuse to protect the lives nor investigate the deaths of their very own team mates. They know Al'Qaeda is very much alive, they are setting the stage for another 911 attack. This is sick.

It's before my time, but I'm curious. How did Americans react to the Tehran embassy being taken over? Back then, the very idea of an American embassy being taken over must have been a shock for a 35-year superpower. Now, however, we're used to being humiliated overseas. Did it change the national ethos? Now, it's a little slice of nothing, but it couldn't have been so in 1979. Right?
