The Governor is Jazzed

Just pulled a wad of paper out of a pocket of the jeans I was wearing Thursday when we recorded our podcast with Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota. One of the governor's remarks so struck me that I'd scribbled it down. Looking at his remark again now, it seems a fine note on which to begin this summer Saturday. On Election Day in November, Gov. Pawlenty said, he expects
one of the most significant wins for conservatives in the history of the country.
If you click that big green button on the homepage, over on the right, about halfway down, you can listen to Gov. Pawlenty for yourself.

I hope the governor is right. Even if he is, we still need to take back the culture. Progressives are like termites working in the dark to take down a mighty tree. What we need is pest control.

The occasional controlled burn wouldn't hurt either - say a passionate, but law-abiding rage channeled at the ballot box in November.
