George w/ My Bro In Law, Dave Nasser

Seeing one of your brothers in law front and center in a huge picture in Drudge gives you one of those feelings like Johnny Carson described when you see Mike Wallace at your door wanting to ask a few questions. Luckily it was harmless when I clicked the photo. Seems he owns the "world's largest dog" and the U.K.'s Daily Mail did a feature on it.

As for my other notable brother in law, you may have enjoyed his work as "Virgil The Wise Orangoutang" in Battle For The Planet Of The Apes. I am truly blessed.

Paul Williams as Virgil.

Get outta here, Joe Escalante!  That's your brother-in-law?  My wife emailed that link yesterday morning.  Great story.

What makes it a real kick is that - if I am not mistaken - is that they picked the runt of the litter.  It's funny how that works out in life.

If you are born a brother to a sister, one of the most important things that can happen is that your sister marries well.  Salu to your and your family.

And all they got out of the deal was a brother in law who was in one of the great punk bands of all time.

I saw this yesterday, too, amused how this dog is smiling for the camera and destroying a sofa at the same time. Next time you see "George", give him a good rub behind both ears from me.

It might just be the angle of the shot, but your brother-in-law looks like a pretty tall guy himself.

A big inside dog is the answer to women who like to decorate with fine china and flowers.

pardon the diversion, but I was a huge fan of Jaime Escalante, "Kemosabe", the subject of the legendary film Stand and Deliver.

Jaime Escalante was Bolivian. We're Mexican, so no relation but we were huge fans as well.
