I'm a conspiracy theorist on a good day, but this Super Bowl power outage was too much. I haven't worked out all the details, but does anyone else find it conveeeeenient that the power only went out in the Superdome -- and not surrounding areas -- and that after the 34-minute delay, the 49ers (or as my 3-year-old charmingly calls them, the 59ers) covered the spread?

Grassy knoll! Bildberbergs! Jet fuel doesn't burn that hot! And so on and so forth. Who is with me?

FEMA has promised to have power restored within 3 months, right after they fix Staten Island residents' concerns from Hurricane Sandy.

I gotta admit....the thought crossed my mind. Highly suspicious, highly suspicious indeed.

So what are you saying, Mollie?  That they switched Harbaughs in the dark?

I'm pretty sure the guy responsible for that Go Daddy commercial was going to desperate lengths to change the subject.

Mollie - I kind of agree, but the 49ers did not cover the spread.  They were favored by anywhere from 3 to 4 points

Listen the only logical explanation is that Roger Goodell pulled the plug for 30 minutes of extra commercials when he realized he had oversold his time slots.

All I know is somehow the Republicans are going to be blamed for it.

I don't even follow cricket, but this sounds fishy indeed.

Your comments tell me one thing and one thing only: you're some of the people involved in the conspiracy!

(Haven't you ever noticed that if you debunk a conspiracy theory, the holder of the theory then asserts you're part of the conspiracy?)

Hey Mollie -- What about your girl Alicia Keys, going on record for the longest National Anthem ever at the Superbowl, overtaking the previous record set by Natalie Cole?

It's never good when the comments on your performance are "too long" and "was that pitchy?" but I still love her.

Well she got the words right and it was recognizable, so that seems like victory relative to pre-game Drudge-steria!

Any evidence against the conspiracy is evidence for the conspiracy.

Those guys up at the Grassy Knoll looked mighty suspicious.  One of them was wearing 49er's colors.

You gotta watch those San Fran Gangbangers.

Wow, that's not a CoC violation, at least I don't think, but even Mae West would say that entendre dances on the edge of Snake River Canyon.

Anyway, Bawlmore got their groove back, and there was joy in Fells Point.

Oh, that settles it then.  Because if there's one thing the Illuminati do, its announce their presence to one enough publicly, but through subtle signs.  Just like the murals at the Denver Airport.
