Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
You gotta hand it to our friend Ann Coulter. She's willing to go just about anywhere to get her message out (and promote her latest book, Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama). Today, she went deep, deep behind enemy lines: the almost all blue and politically inane territory more popularly known as The View. Watch below as she takes Whoopi Goldberg way out of her comfort zone and forces Barbara Walters -- TV's Matron Saint-- to practically take the vapors. Ann, you go girl.

I haven't watched enough Couler -- no teevee -- but she seemed to hold herself pretty well I thought. · 4 minutes ago
She certainly held herself well, but this venue didn't allow her to do what she does best- the caustic, stinging (I was editor of the Law Review at Michigan and you weren't!) snark. ;)

For our newer members who are Ann fans (Fanns?), allow me to suggest this podcast we did in May of 2011 with Ann, Rob, and Peter, in which Ann tries to cure Rob of the tragic disease known as RINO. It's called RINO Intervention and it's a hoot.
P.S. Ann was much tougher on Rob than she is on Whoopi.

Seriously! That's a popular show, right? Who in the heck watches this? Our country is doomed.

Indeed -- I relish that snark. Especially agains the ever vile and loathsome Keith Olbermann -- the fake Cornell grad!
My only criticism of Coulter's performance would be her response to Goldberg's plainly demagogic claim ("do you know what it is like to be a black person?"). She should have called it what it is: pure demagogy. Gee, do you know what it's like to be a WHITE person? Your question implicitly means that you don't. Are you not able to rise above the vicissitudes of your race? Are only "authentically black" people allowed to represent you in office? Etc.

Ann rocked their world. And yes, smiling the whole way because... they are ridiculous and so full of mindless outrage!
And ladies, that pumpkin colored top she wore was perfect! (See how shallow I am?)

Why they want someone like Coulter is obvious, I'm not in the least bit naive about that. The only questions is Coulter's motivation - is it purely mercenary. I decided to give her her the benefit of the doubt and go with secondarily mercenary.
Remember, we conservatives prefer not to think of ourselves as victims, that we are making choices and living with the consequences ... regardless of the laughing hyenas.

It is, of course, but working for private gain is never a bad thing; I only wish Hannity/Limbaugh/Gutfeld, et al. had bigger budgets! ;)

Re: Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
I normally don't care for Ann Coulter; I tend to agree with the black lady who is not Whoopi Goldberg that Ann's writing is far to incendiary to ever be persuasive, and quite frankly when she sat in for Jennifer Rubin on a podcast, I thought Mickey Kaus ate her for breakfast.
That being said, compared to Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, she's the freaking president of MENSA.

So being in a gang that sells drugs isn't a bad thing? I was juxtaposing only monetary gain, with monetary gain with political motivation. I'm hoping Ann has the wherewithal to seek maximum political advantage from these forays of hers.

Western Chauvinist
I read somewhere that 78%(?) of blacks agree with voter ID laws...
This would be a good stat to have at handy when this issue comes up. Does anyone have a source?

She talks about history.

Seriously? Mercenary? I think Ann did a very good thing. She clearly created cognitive dissonance in the minds of the liberals, more than once, which means she pierced the liberal cocoon, and got them to consider ideas that contradict their smug, arrogant, elitist view of the world.

America is a better country because of Ann Coulter. You go girl. Thanks for updating us Blue. She is the only woman who can have all of my husband's attention to the extent of completely ignoring me and I am perfectly ok with that.

Exactly. My blood pressure was rising just watching it. I couldn't force myself to stick with it all the way to the end.
