Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
You gotta hand it to our friend Ann Coulter. She's willing to go just about anywhere to get her message out (and promote her latest book, Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama). Today, she went deep, deep behind enemy lines: the almost all blue and politically inane territory more popularly known as The View. Watch below as she takes Whoopi Goldberg way out of her comfort zone and forces Barbara Walters -- TV's Matron Saint-- to practically take the vapors. Ann, you go girl.

How can people actually watch this?

The one thing missing from that clip, and from almost every Ann Coulter interview = a refutation.
It's a common lament these days that unless something changes, one half of America will veer off from the other half.
Like that's a bad thing.

Ann stays cool, collected and even good-humored. Better her than me. I'm afraid I'd have one fist for Behar's snoot and the other for Goldberg's. Could anyone here maintain that even keel while being attacked by those harpies?

It is a bad thing though.
The break up of the U S will leave a void in the world, and the parts will never equal the whole that once was.

Agreed. She never calls them out on their bigotry. As if Republicans and conservatives being assumed to have racist motivations, without evidence, isn't anti-conservative bigotry.
What is their evidence? Voter ID laws? I read somewhere that 78%(?) of blacks agree with voter ID laws, so I guess Voter ID laws aren't so much anti-black as they are anti-liberal. But, to a liberal, blacks must agree with them by virtue of being black. Which is just more evidence of liberal bigotry!

Re: Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
As Ann's #1 fan and owner of all eight of her books (hardback, baby- no Kindle), I surely wish she'd stop appearing on shows that demean her intelligence; i.e The View and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Are you kidding? Give her credit for walking into the hyena's den to expose her work to some who might otherwise never know about it.

Re: Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
It doesn't demean her but it does make them look a little silly.

She knocked it out of the park. Watch Caryn Johnson's body language as Ann calmly deflects her indignity with facts. Keep your eyes on her throughout. By the end she's completely deflated.

Re: Suggested Title For Ann Coulter's Next Book: Fearless
I agree, she's wonderful. I have most of her books -- even met her in person and have two autographed books! But I must say, I completely relish it when she wanders into the leftist wolf den. What she says is so "incendiary" because it's perhaps the ONLY time these shysters ever hear the truth.

Highlama: With all due respect, you're being naive. Libs invite conservatives onto their shows to make them appear less than credible. Oftentimes, due to editing, ludicrous questions, and hostile hosts/audiences, even a "diamond" can't survive the "rough." Ann, unfortunately, wasn't at her best on The View. Who could be, other than Michelle Obama?

Just goes to show, a closed mind is a terrible thing to waste. Has Joy Behar ever had a thought that didn't originate from Media Matters? Just sayin'...

I haven't watched enough Couler -- no teevee -- but she seemed to hold herself pretty well I thought.

It's like watching a school of hungry fish trying to swarm a turtle, bemusedly humming along inside its shell.

I also wanted to ask her out on a date... but I guess your envy doesn't extend that far, right? ;)
