Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before ...
So, the article begins like this ...
Several members of the U.N.'s top human rights body are pressing for an emergency meeting to examine the government crackdowns against popular protests that have swept the Middle East and North Africa, Western diplomats said Wednesday.
Then we have the response of the Organization of the Islamic Conference--they say absolutely not; they'll never consent:
"We think that the events that are taking place do not merit some kind of a special session," said Zamir Akram, Pakistan's ambassador to the U.N. in Geneva.
And then the punchline. He thinks the meeting should be used to focus on ...
Well, actually, you've probably heard it before.

Reparations to Israel for sixty-plus years of near-continual warfare?

It has to be something about Israel or their enablers, the warmongering Americans.

The UN Human Rights Commission is a clown car, only in this case the clowns are serial murderers and the car horn is a non-stop spewer of bile projected at the infidels. The fact that the clowns have these dog-eared copies of Mein Kampf falling out of their pockets only enhances the joy of Obama restoring US support for this august catastrophe on wheels.
Groundhog Day indeed!

Help me with something here if you can. Just what is the root cause of Jew hatred for all these centuries. These folk must have done or pepetuated some horrible activites for all this time to be thought of so poorly.
Just an honest justifiable reply please...

Really? Does that mean that black people (and everyone else) must have done something terrible to deserve being enslaved? Or was it that the people enslaving them didn't believe they had the right to be their own masters? Did the Jews do something terrible? Or do the Islamists believe they don't have the right to live? If you want a clear reason, read the Koran.

So I have 151 words here to explain 1400 years of dhimmi genocide and persecution under Islam, a similar period cycling between embracing a jewish financial class and executing periodic pogroms against them to cover the fiscal shortcomings of many, many ruling regimes across Europe? Do you know about the Blood Libel?
For most of the world for most of history, including current day, if you pray differently and hold property, you are an inviting target to fund the government. Heck, Henry VIII did it to the Catholic holdings as a baptized Catholic.
You think Islam holds Christianity in higher esteem than Judaism? The Great Satan? We are good for establishing and modernizing Islamic rule countries while turning the other cheek over atrocities committed against Christians in these countries, often by these governments. We are the dumbest Dhimmi's of all.

Re, Sisyphus, The financial argument seems to always apply. Little thin on my part when it comes to the bottom Blood Libel thing.
Do find it a terrible thing when Islam commits the sanctioned atrocities it does against Christians, Hindus and others while a blind eye is turned. This is unacceptable on the part of our government.
Re, Theo Moller, Am familiar with the Koran and the teaching. Not clear on the post, did the Jews ever try to exterminate the Muslim populations ? That would be handy as the numbers to accomplish that were never there.
Not to oversimplify, one group will always find a need or reason to subjugate another.

Please remember that while Jesus said "go forth and preach to the whole world" Mo said "go forth and make war on whole the world". The theology of Islam is very different from that of Christianity and Judaism, which is why Islam bears such strange fruits. (Cue a famous Billy Holiday song.)

An additional cause of the virulence of modern Muslim hatred of Jews is that Jews are so successful in every worthwhile area of life. The Profit Mo said that Jews were the scum of the earth, inferior to Muslims and Arabs in every way. And yet what do we see? Jews out-achieve Muslims in all worthwhile areas of human endeavor. The the crowning insult to Muslim pride is the continued survival of Israel, despite being surrounded by far more populous neighbors. That Israel not only survives but thrives is a slap in the face to Muslim pride.

Sisyphus, are you familiar with the widespread Muslim slogan "After Saturday comes Sunday" or "First the Saturday people and then the Sunday people"? It is, of course, precisely what you are talking about: A promise that once the Jews have been exterminated then it will be the Christians. Charming.

Just asking for some qualified examples to sustain the level of hate that exists for Jews. On the whole one sees this history of haet really has no basis in fact.
As for Islam, using the MoToons as a start, the reactions from Islam were absurd. Definitly when one can view the cartoons published in Arab states vilifying Jews on a daily basis. Include the teaching materials for Islamic children that infuse hate. Appears the driving force behind Islam is hate itself. Let the air out of that ballon and it would be the end of Islam as it is known.

The Blood Libel is the doubly apt name for the accusation that the blood of gentile babies is used to make the Jew's Passover bread. (Christians and Muslims each use the term gentile to refer to their faithful, and the Blood Libel occurs in both.) The Blood Libel is used to justify the murder or banishment of Jews, usually with an eye toward raking in their property. Just one of many such devices, it is perhaps the most notorious. Those Muslim anti-Jewish cartoons were not uncommon in Christendom even a century ago.
For Christians, of course, there is the Jewish hand in the crucifixion, ignoring Christ's own ethnicity and that of his first followers. Logic does not need much purchase in the company of avarice, or even simple bigotry.
The answer to your initial question, the root cause, it is that post-Diaspora the Jews spread across the known world, filling social niches the gentile considered taboo and serving as convenient political scapegoats.

Re: Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before ...
Thanks for refresher on Blood Libel, had forgotten that. Do agree with the convenient political scapegoat definition. The solution just may be, have a lot more Jews around..Then no one would need to take personal responsibility for failures.
Sad statement to make about people that was....
