Spiking The Football
A company called Hero Builders has released an Obama Navy Seals Action Figure, in honor of the President ordering the killing of Osama bin Laden.
That's one tough looking Nobel Peace Prize winner.
The President insists he won't "spike the football," ostensibly to not injure the sensibilities of bin Laden's supporters (how sensitive he is).
Donald Rumsfeld insists the President has already spiked the football with his 60 minutes appearance and ground zero visit.
Even if the President is making an attempt not to spike the football, can the same be said of his agitprop fawning friends among media and the public?
Bill Maher expectedly rolled Obama ending racism and 'Eating the Republican's Lunch" into the bin Laden killing in a frothing act of politicization (couldn't find a clip sans the expletives - sorry).
Obama fans are of course engaged in furthering the President's Mussolinian cult of personality:

"Unsportsmanlike Conduct - Spiking the Football - 15 yard penalty to be assessed at the kickoff of The President's Campaign."

Rush Limbaugh has an "Obama Killed Osama" t-shirt for sale:

So is the head...it needs to be MUCH larger to match the ego. BTW...I highly doubt Obama has ever handled a rifle let alone knows which end was which..

What the hell is an M1-A4? Forget it, Jake, it's MSNBC.
Reminds me of the great Jonah Goldberg line about "people who think M-16 is a bus route."

For a party that threatened consequences if Pres. Bush ever used the War for political gain (and frequently accused him of doing so), they never miss a beat to use the War for Pres. Obama's political gain.
Of course, this is the same administration that handed out t-shirts at a memorial rally ...

Heh, I have to admit, I want one of those t-shirts :) There's something cool about America being so great, even a president as weak as Obama can still kill Osama. We certainly aren't the nation of Carter anymore.
Plus, it'd stick in the craw of Islamists to see one of their precious symbols killed by someone with an Arab name. Ha!

One of my co-workers just pointed out another irony. The T-Shirt on the Action Figure shows "The Punisher" of comic book fame. Heh..

Ya know... I'm just not comfortable with that. I love Rush. He was a big part of my political awakening.
But the first time I heard someone go after spouses and children, it didn't involve the Palins (whose treatment by the left I still find disturbing). It was Rush going after Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton.
He's so brilliant. Why does he stoop to this?
