I think the Romney campaign should just make 100 of these videos and drip them out every day or so until the election:

That is a GREAT ad!

The tag at the end was the most effective part. The "and it's wrong" just lacks the oomph we need.

Combined with these shirts, looks like Romney and surrogates are planning on keeping this in the public eye as long as possible.

Great ad, including real people gives it a lot of credibility and Gov. Romney hits his stride during that speech. When I watched the other clip here on Ricochet Gov. Romeny says the line '...and I will change that.', breaks for applause (well earned), and moves on. He never gets to how he is going to change that.

Seldom have I been as worked up on an Obama statement, but this idea of his that somehow government built our small business has me furious.  We built our small business IN SPITE of government.  The only thing government did was put obstacles in our way.  This very notion is the thinking of someone who doesn't have a clue.  And it's WRONG.

Again, the president's words have been distorted. What he meant was that the roads and the schools...er...that it's the customers and not the owners...uh, that the employees are the ones...I mean, that Bain Capital outsourced the--well, never mind. Just stop distorting his words!

Obama has hit the one nerve the American people have left. It may be a recessive gene at this point, but individualism is still in the DNA of America. I can see the entire election turning on this one statement.

I split my posting time between Ricochet and a very active leftist-dominated message board, and this speech by the President hasn't been mentioned once. It's completely off their radar.

I made an allusion to it today, and now I think they're all scouring the interwebs to figure out what I'm talking about.

If I were you, I'd have the link to the videoclip handy.

They'll come back calling you a liar and worse, then you can post the link and put egg all over their faces.

Actually, they're currently falling back on White House talking points: that by "You didn't build that," the president meant "infrastructure." Though it doesn't seem to have dawned on them that taxpayers -- chiefly business owners -- built that infrastructure, too.

Of course not.

In their minds, if government didn't do it, it didn't get done.

This is one area of Obama's thought that is dangerously out of touch with what the American people believe.  The nation of rugged individualism cannot be compatible with the sentiment expressed by Obama.

I'm glad Obama's true colors are showing now and again, so that the American people may see him for what he actually is.

In truth, government is more obstacle than friendly helper when it comes to building a business.

I may be asked to turn in my Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy card for this, but I'll say it anyway.

I actually feel sorry for Obama.

He's had everything given to him in life. He's never experienced the deep joy and satisfaction of actually doing something himself. He probably doesn't even realize what a marvelous feeling he's missed by having everything handed to him.

Truly worthy of our pity, he is. (Did I just channel Yoda there?)

You're joking, right? This is that man that single-handedly tracked down bin Laden and killed him with his bare hands.

I'm impressed by how quickly the Romney campaign put this ad together.

I'm also impressed by how quickly Mollie wrote a post about it.  Hats off to her and Ricochet!!
