The Hemingways are coming to the DC Area Ricochet Soirée in the day time! (Sorry francophones.) 2PM Saturday in Northern Virginia, just outside the Beltway!

Mark and I will be there. My folks are flying in just prior and I might be able to get my Dad to come along, too.
On that note, I have a question. A correspondent of mine in DC who reads Ricochet but is not a member was wondering if membership was a requirement to attend one of these soirees. Anyone know the protocol? I suppose the same question applies to my Dad.

What? They can't come up with the price of a latte something or other at Starbucks for one stinking month for an unforgettable evening of laughter, wit, and politics???
But seriously, with flownover paying for your dad and you being the guest of honer and all, I think we can float a couple of one time only free complementary soirée seats as long as the Ricochet management voices no objections.

Stuck in the Antipodes of Melbourne Australia. Are the trees changing colour yet in Virginia? Have fun and post pictures for us please. Will need to get an Antipodian Ricochet meeting down under in the warming months to come before Christmas

We haven't worked the bugs out of our retinal scanner, so we're foolishly going on a more-the-merrier principle.

Yes, the trees have started to change. And the monsoons have missed India completely and are drenching us with total abandon. It's all one big pathetic fallacy for Mrs. Perry and the strain of campaign.
