The United States Supreme Court:
The Supreme Court of Canada:
Now I ask you: Who appears more cheerfully attuned to the spirit of Christmas?

Re: Santa's Helpers
Look again, Mr. Robinson. Mr. Justice Thomas is clearly telling a knock-knock joke to, who is that, Kennedy? And other justices are chuckling.
Those cheery red outfits mask a dour and, probably, frozen Canadian judiciary.

At least they did away with the English judicial wig thing.

Also note that Justice Thomas is clearly gazing rightward, with a big smile...

Re: Santa's Helpers
Peter, take a good look at this.
The wicked witch of the east here is none other then the President (equivalent of Chief Justice) of the Israeli Supreme Court. If the truth be told in Israel they should try this women for treason and sentence her to a village for the rest of her life. A Taliban village that is. Surely life with the hyper-misogyny of the Taliban won't deter her from her incessant criticism of Israel and Western Civilization. She knows best. Providing she survives that is.
HAPPY HANUKAH!!

Re: Santa's Helpers
The "North Pole" myth is clearly Canadian propoganda. It's high time we recognized Santa's true home in Rayne, Louisiana.

The real test question is whether you know why American judges wear black instead of scarlet & ermine. Hint: Queen Anne is involved.

Re: Santa's Helpers
CJ Rehnquist started a tradition of singing Christmas carols every year at the SCOTUS Christmas party, a tradition which CJ Roberts has continued. And Justices Breyer and Ginsburg have always joined in. And I say joyful carols are more attuned to the spirit of Christmas than aping the increasingly-secularized Mr. Claus.

What would it take to get you to change your mind? How about if the Canadian justices wore alternatingly red and green robes, electrically heated like WW II flying suits?

I would reconsider on both mirth and warmth, if they wore tuques.

A slider instead of a fastball. Well done.
