Ronald Reagan Rapping: The Antidote For the Monday Morning Blues

Yesterday I missed my flight home from Las Vegas, spent ten hours in the airport, had my credit card stolen, and spent 40 minutes trying to find a parking spot in my neighborhood when I finally made it back to San Francisco. So I was a bit grouchy this morning when I reported to the Ricochet editor's desk.
Grouchy, that is, until I happened upon the Young Cons' rap video, "The Problem." Ronald Reagan rapping, a shout out to Mark Steyn, and a bite sized nugget of the Christian Gospel -- I can't imagine a better way to start the day.

I can't watch it--the YouTube business again--but I'm stunned to learn that you left us to deal with Ricochet on our own and you weren't even enjoying your debauched bacchanal in Vegas. Was it worth it, Diane?

Las Vegas is not my kind of city. And I've learned my lesson: I'll never go on vacation again.

I've seen video of Allen West and he's definitely military and, refreshingly, a straight talker. Sick?

Briar Ann, 'sick' is just a synonym for 'great' or 'cool.' They're not casting any aspersions on Allen West's speaking skills.

I was a huge fan of the Young Con Anthem when it first came out, but I hadn't heard any of their other stuff until today. Great lyrics.
I hope Ricochet gets a shout out in the next video :)
