You better hope that 100% of precincts have reported within the next 4 hours.  Otherwise you'll have to call your doctor.

I fear that Bill McGurn is right in what he wrote in today's WSJ:

Those of us who believed that a primary fight would toughen Mr. Romney up have little to show for it. Far from sharpening his proposals to reach out to a GOP electorate hungry for a candidate with a bold conservative agenda, Mr. Romney has limited his new toughness to increasingly negative attacks on Mr. Gingrich's character. It's beginning to make what we all assumed was a weakness look much more like arrogance.

Let's broker something, now. Newt/Santorum for P/VP and Paul for Secretary of Treasury?

Google has been consistently giving, in my view, the most accurate results.

I can't watch. I'm going to stick my head in the sand until the Ricochet SoCal meet-up on Feb. 25. Y'all can fill me in then.

BTW... Everyone in the media is reporting that this is a winner take all primary, yet from doing some research, just 5 days ago, there was talk that in addition to losing half of their delegates due to the rules violation, the delegates awarded would be proportional as well. Can anyone definitively tell me if thisnis true? If so, why is it that no one can seem to get it straight.

With the anticipated exciting race of the night (Santorum/ Paul) having resulted in an overwhelming victory for the clearly not third party candidate, I agree that this is the most exciting part of the contest for the remainder of the night.

Will Romney beat Santorum + Newt? 24% of the vote still to be counted.

For all the diehard Newt supporters, this tidbit from the Washington Post tonight:

In both NBC-Wall Street Journal and Washington Post-ABC polling, it’s Romney, not Gingrich who would benefit if former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum, a conservative favorite, decided to drop from the race.
