Ricochet at Sea!

I've just returned from the National Review cruise, where I finally had a chance to finally meet in person several Ricochet contributors and members. It was like a huge podcast, minus Richard Epstein.
We too were aboard, now back on terra firma. Along with Professor Yoo, podcast host and master-of-the-segue James Lileks was on the cruise, and he posed with his Ricochet fans:
We wore those Ricochet hoodies on a 75-degree night to add authenticity to the shot.

I spied him with a limegreen shirt one day. Of course , it was hot and he did not have any gold chains or piercings ( there was an obvious prison tat of Golda Meir )

I am the 99% (that cannot afford to go on NRO cruises, but really, really wants to).

My question is how is Lileks so ruddy in the fall living in MN. Is this Jersey Shore fake tan? Gym, Tan, Laundry James?
