Questionable

It's Question Time this week on the Ricochet Podcast. NPR, Derb, James' favorite song -- they're all on the table. Also, Ricochet members, if we didn't get to your question on the air check this post.  Peter, Rob, and James will endeavor to get to all them in the comments.

I loved Mr. Lileks' response to the music question.  I went through the same thing with EC, but in 10th grade.  And I loved EC until I discovered what a Thatcher-hating jerk he was ;-(

Great podcast as usual guys!

Lots of great questions too. How about this for getting visitors to become members, promote the yearly fee of $29.99 more, that is only $2.50 a month CHEAP!

Another idea is when a visitor clicks on the "Read More" link to make the long post appear in full, have it take them to a new window/page, but have an intermediate page that basically says "Please become a member" pitch, then they just click past it and on the the rest of the post, but it might make them think about ponying up to have some skin in the game!

One last thing, I'm doing my part in posting as I know my posts are far from intimidating!

Domo!

Richard Pugilist: Not that I want to be in the business of defending the Not-So-Great Pacific Northwest but we do have summers up in this corner of the world. Try visiting in say, June or July and not October or November...or March...or April...or May... ยท Apr 12 at 9:34pm

Indeed, IMO, summer lasts from mid-June to mid-September in western WA and OR. (Not to be confused with the portions of these states that are east of the Cascade range, where the weather is decidedly drier and subject to greater extremes.)
