What was with the heavy breathing at the beginning? I get excited about the podcasts, but someone is taking it to extremes.

Hahaha! I was just about to say the same thing.  I have been breathlessly awaiting a new podcast but...

Apologies, that was me! Was using a new headset and it took a couple of minutes to realize that I didn't have the mute button turned on. I cut most of it out (and my laughing out loud too), but I couldn't cut around all of it unfortunately. Do'h!

Oddly  enough, the jackets in the visual remind one of those worn by the guy that used to have commercials with a guidebook on how to get free government money. Remember him ? Just a thought.

My first association was with the Riddler (i.e. the Batman villain). But now I can't get your association out of my head.

Concerning intimidation: I was very intimidated with posting at first. I got over it, obviously.

I thought the 2000 election was to restore decency to the presidency.

Damn, you guys beat me to it.  I wanted to be the one to ask if they were supposed to look like The Riddler or Matthew Lesko.

I took too much time Googling for the name of the "free government money guy".

James, vodka is not the "water of life." That title belongs to whiskey, specifically Irish Whiskey. In the Irish language whiskey is uisce beatha, directly translated as "water of life."

[photo of Darth Vader on the telephone]

That totally reminds me of the clip from Robot Chicken where The Emperor gets the phone call from Vader to give him the bad news about the Death Star's destruction.

"You have a collect call from ... Darth Vader ... do you accept the charges?"

I believe I was the one who asked Peter what good he thought he was doing by criticizing Romney.

Wonderful podcast.  I'd actually like to see y'all make this a regular thing.  Once every two months or so.  I think the back and forth on this episode was some of the best ever.

And yes Mr. Robinson, everyone has noticed how many times you ask "one last question" or "one final question." :)
