Re: Ricochet Mobile
We're aware of a bug with the Preview function on iPhones, and it's in our development queue. Please forgive us for the inconvenience.

Re: Ricochet Mobile
Don't forget us Windows Phone users. Rapidly passing the sinking BlackBerry. It also happens to have a great interface and user experience. I'd never go back to iPhone personally (believe it or not, Macolytes) .

I am an Androidophile myself, why won't you go back to the iPhone?

Not being able to edit comments is a pretty big drawback as well.

Re: Ricochet Mobile
Way cool!!! Is there supposed to be a "Quote" function for comments? If so, it doesn't display on my iPhone. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. Your development efforts are much appreciated.

Re: Ricochet Mobile
quote has never worked on mobile safari.
Re: Ricochet Mobile
No, no! You should
1) automatically redirect to the mobile site, whether the user wants it or not, and defeat all attempts to modify the URL in the browser, and
2) intercept all incoming links with an ad for the standalone app version, with a small button that says "No thanks, send me to the full site," every time.
Have we learned nothing from the Daily Caller?

Nothing against iPhone. I just really love the experience on the new Windows phone. It just seems so fluid and beautiful to me. I kind of now see the whole grid of icons for every app (ala iPhone and mimicked by Android) as kind of clunky. It's just personal preference. I know people have an ingrained view of Windows, but the new phone is really a great platform.

Re: Ricochet Mobile
Instead of upgrading to the new iPhone from my 3gs, I chose a "free" HTC android phone, and it was the beswt money I never spent. Never, ever going back!

Just like always, the day after I finally get the latest new thing, trendsetters declare it obsolete and oldfashioned.
Marketers should pay me not to buy their products!

Dear Logo, please keep in mind those of us who like to read posts while on the subway underground where there is no internet connection to load individual posts (Read more...).
Thanks!

(Which is why I use Pulse iPhone app to read posts from the main feed when I'm commuting.)

Re: Ricochet Mobile
For those of us not living in the Apple universe, when can we expect a rss podcast feed that will work on Android?
The current rss feed doesn't work for subscriber feeds in Dr Podder, Google Reader, Doggcatcher, the google rss app...

Re: Ricochet Mobile
SteveSc, Why not Google Reader?

Re: Ricochet Mobile
Does not work. It was in my list. The only two that work Ricochet and Hinderaker-Ward Experience that are hosted on feedburner. Something about HTTP authentication which apparently is an Apple thing.
