Ricochet Meetup in Tampa During GOP Convention
Greetings,
I am organizing a Tampa Meetup around the GOP Convention. This is the first post to publicize! Very casual... meet other Ricochet fans... members and non-members welcome!
When: Tuesday August 28th
When: 4:30PM ish - 7:00PM ish
Where: 4 Green fields pub

Details: Great pub. Close to downtown and convention hotels. Walking distance. check local resources as they are closing off some streets around convention area. Parking likely difficult. The pub is outside of the restricted roads... but it may make getting there a bit of a challenge. Current road restriction plans found here: http://bit.ly/PEG8Oi
Location Choice: Many venues are being bought out... there was much discussion about going further out but it was decided staying close for walking distance was likely the better bet so we put a stake in the ground. 4 Green fields it is... Please spread the word. Hope to see you there. Hope to guilt Rob, Peter, James, Yeti, Yoo, Senik, Epstein... and anyone else into coming by for a bit. You guys could always do a podcast... I'll get plenty of volunteers to help!

I would have preferred somewhere a bit further away from the convention center - Ybor City ? But count me in anyway.

Would love to be there, but I'm getting outta town for the duration of the convention. I can vouch for the location, though -- have partaken in many pints there over the years under the thatched roof.

Well.
It's a Tuesday.
And it's 45 miles away.
If I can convince The Love Of My Life, I will be there. I know 4GF, so that is no problem.
I am pretty sure I can never convince TLOML to attend, as she is to the left of Michael Moore, but I will try. Because she is delightful, (more than I am), and may be won over a bit if she met more conservatives. Our world is entirely liberal, because I choose to live in hers.
