Thanks to all who turned out for our first Rico Soirée, right across from the ballpark in San Francisco. We were happy to see that all 50 San Francisco conservatives (we're including you libertarians in that bucket, Kenneth) showed up -- including Nancy Pelosi's opponent this Fall, John Dennis.
Next stop... Minneapolis, Los Angeles, or New York City?

Cleveland. Before the snow flies and the Browns are eliminated.

Atlanta. Plenty of conservatives within a 2-hour radius. Set it for a Saturday in the fall so you Yankees can taste the glory of college football in the South.

Just a word of advice for any prospective attendees:
Taser.
Peter's a sweetheart when he's sober. But get a few Mai Tai's in him and he goes surly.
And watch out for Edward - he bites..

Aye, a second for Atlanta. Or Jacksonville on October 29th.

Re: Rico Soirée: San Francisco
Still not quite Middle America.
I repeat, Danville, Illinois. A sad prairie town that has lost its industry (auto assembly), birthplace of Rob Petrie (which means that Rob Long has to show up), one day's drive for most of us- from Cleveland, Minneapolis, St. Louis, etc.- the way flyoverland so often travels. Cash bar, various chips as hors d'ouvres.

This is supposed to be a party, not a wake!

Los Angeles! Los Angeles! Los Angeles!
You might actually get a larger gathering of conservatives. But we'd all be from Orange County.
Los Angeles, please. I really want to meet you folks in person!

Re: Rico Soirée: San Francisco
Would Claire be doing the tour, also? Please?
Re: Rico Soirée: San Francisco
Felicia, I am IN LOS ANGELES TONIGHT! Clearly I did not announce this loudly enough. At the Museum of Tolerance, 7:30.

Re: Rico Soirée: San Francisco
Claire, are you joking, or is there really a place called the Museum of Tolerance?

Re: Rico Soirée: San Francisco
Revisiting this thread almost a year later, I looked up Museum of Tolerance and learned it is a Holocaust museum. Mockery formally retracted.
