Republican Debates at Dartmouth College

I am fortunate enough to be a part of the focus group and will be able to have some minor participation in the upcoming debate tonight. I will have the chance to interact with the candidates and chat it up for a little bit.
Anybody have any questions they are dying to ask a candidate? I want to have some good questions in the vault.
I will be sitting on stage next to the discussion table, so if you are watching keep an eye out for yours truly. Tune in tonight at 8:00pm Eastern.

Hi, Yes I have a couple questions I would like to hear answered
1. Once in office, are you willing to forego any chance at re-election in order to fight to make substantive reduction in the size and spending of the federal gubmint ?
2. Do you think you have the ability to go on national TV and make the conservative case in a passionate and persuasive way for policies you are fighting for ?
3. Can you fight for and defend your principles under withering media criticisms or are you more of the "give a little to get a little" type pol - cuz "that's how we do things here in Washington" (i.e., never met a compromise you didn't like [Dole], be the bigger man and not call out pure political BS when it thrown at your feet [McCain]) ?

Ask what their policy response would be if the EU's latest 'solution' fails and Europe's banks and the Euro collapse.
Ask about their plans for defense spending such as for new stealth bombers and fighters.
Ask what they'd do regarding Dodd-Frank and Sarbannes-Oxley, which have made entrepreneurship and new business formation too costly, thereby keeping unemployment high.

Ask Mitt Romney what his governing principles are regarding the proper size and role of the federal government.
Ask Herman Cain what the difference is between running a corporation and running a government.
Ask Rick Perry if he's skated through life on his good looks, charm and uber-Texas personality. (just kiddin!)
Ask Rick Perry how he - as president - would get legislation through a Democrat controlled senate.
Ask the rest of the candidates why they're there...

1) Do you feel we have strayed from the constitution in how our government is administered? If yes, give your most glaring example and how would you work toward its correction.
2) In light of all the recent "warfare" that has erupted lately class, race, sexual orientation, Democrat v Republican or the latest one Christian v Non- Christian how would lead as President to insure this warfare between fellow Americans is diffused.

Ask the top three when they've scheduled their interviews with Peter Robinson. Also, ask them if they read Ricochet, and if not, why not.
Ask Romney if he plans to be the Republican standard bearer or the conservative standard bearer.
Ask Cain why he thinks adding a national sales tax without first eliminating the income tax is a good idea.
Ask Perry how he got elected repeatedly in Texas while sounding like a moron. If he didn't sound like a moron then, then ask him why he sounds like one now.

It's time for Cain to demonstrate that he's done his homework on foreign policy. He's outlined his economic thinking. What is his game plan going forward for dealing with Iran, Korea, China? Where are we in the War on Terror? Has it run its course or are we just getting started? Will he be proactive or simply try to manage the draw downs in the current theaters?
For that matter, Romney and Perry need to answer these questions also. There had been a paucity of questions on foreign affairs in this campaign.

Christie is endorsing Romney today. SORRY MR. RAHE. Looks like Romney is a lock, but I still want him attacked on Romneycare--a scrimage for the general.

How might you inspire constitutional conservatives that you can bring the same boldness and clarity to your domestic agenda which, thus far, has excluded the reforms many feel are the necessary to restrain the federal government?"

Oh, okay. I think Bill Whalen's post has fodder for several questions, eg I'd like to ask the candidates if they think that any private enterprise should be getting federal subsidies. Easy to talk about Solyndra, but will they disavow corporate welfare in all its forms. Will they cut capital gains? Do they even think that capital gains should be considered income?

For all of them but especially Romney:
Off the top of your head, which federal regulations would you axe and which agencies are doing the most to restrict entrepreneurship?
What will you do specifically to reform entitlements? Would you consider adopting a version of Paul Ryan's plan?

You should demand Herman Cain explain why he was not Martin Luther King Jr. and apologize for not writing "I Have a Dream" first.
