Reminder: On Friday We're Saving Capitalism

Just a reminder that on Friday, the Ricochet Book Club convenes with Nicole Gelinas to discuss After the Fall: Saving Capitalism from Wall Street--and Washington.
I idolize Nicole. She's one of the most intelligent women I've ever met. The book is the authoritative analysis of the financial crisis. I'm hoping everyone finds time to read it before she joins us. It's really worth it.
If you've ever had any question about the financial crisis--and I'm sure you have--she's the woman to ask.

Ack, missed this and it looks like no audiobook, which would make it easy!
Ah well, picked up the Kindle version, will see how far I can get by Friday...

Re: Reminder: On Friday We're Saving Capitalism
I faithfully ordered a copy from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/After-Fall-Saving-Capitalism-Washington/dp/1594032610/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1294815921&sr=1-1
If only it arrives in time...

Oh, dear.
I thought Amazon would deliver faster. If many members have had problems getting the book in time for the discussion, we could ask Nicole if she might be willing to join us next week, instead. Has anyone else had trouble?

The Kindle route took me two minutes. I have more paper books than bookshelves already.

Did you order it from Amazon.com? The French (.fr), British (.co.uk), and German (.de) Amazon stores have most English-language books in stock in warehouses in Europe. You'll have books delivered much faster if you order them from there rather than from the United States.

The books arrived in good time. I now have After the Fall, as well as On the Wealth of Nations, P. J. O'Rourke's excellent summary of Adam Smith's classic.
