Recess Appointments

This week on Law Talk with Epstein and Yoo, the Professors and Troy Senik play a little hooky to discuss whether recess appointments ought to be banished, examine whether the government went overboard in the Aaron Swartz case, and ponder whether law professors should sign on to politically charged letters. Then, we throw open the phone lines and take calls from Ricochet members. Who got through and what questions were answered? Not going to answer that here -- you'll have to listen to find out.

It's the law: every one can benefit from Epstein and Yoo's legal advice by subscribing to this podcast here. Yes, direct link are permissible in this court.

Doesn't like the McRib? hah. What a lie.

I've never heard such vicious slander of a slathered slab of delicious in my life. Molded for aesthetics immersed in a most excellent bbq flavor gel, the McRib is so ridiculous in its achievement of culinary perfection from humble beginnings. How could you not like it? I say communist.

Well, I for one was disappointed not to get the review of Billy Budd. Maybe Professor Epstein will have time to write one for us?

Blue Yeti

I actually have it recorded (most of it, anyway). Maybe I'll put it up as bonus material (Law Talk Uncut).

Yes, we must "smoke out" Senik and his unorthodox views on food.

And I imagine that after smoking out, Troy would find it much harder to resist the temptation of the McRib.

Senik also claimed there was only one Ricochet member in Vermont. He forgot to count me!

And me.  We post from a bunker, hidden deep beneath Bernie Sanders' Burlington senate office.  We felt it best to be closest to our enemy, to know him better, but it turned out that there really wasn't all that much to learn about him.

Other than that he's a tool, but that seems obvious.

Freedom and Unity!  Tell me there's a better rallying cry, and I'll buy you a Peace Pop.
