Re: Ready For the November 2nd Tsunami?
The suspense is like nothing I've ever experienced, and in truth, it's easy to make the case that this is the biggest election since 1860.
I told my gloating 'progressive' friends two years ago that I was glad Obama won, because his failure would be epic, and would finish the crypto-Marxist cause forever in America. They laughed and laughed.
They're not laughing now, and won't even speak to me. That's good. We know a person by their enemies.

Re: Ready For the November 2nd Tsunami?
Polling data indicates a wave of historic proportions. Then what? We can ask two additional questions. How will Obama react? We can only speculate. Will he act like a politician looking toward 2012 or a petulant narcissist? We will know his true colors very soon. And what about establishment Republicans? Will they get the message? I'm of the opinion that the Tea Party will have to put some heat to the feet of more than a few Republican incumbents. Perhaps even a few flaming bamboo shoots under the toenails.
Re: Ready For the November 2nd Tsunami?
This is just the beginning. It took the better part of eighty years of unrelenting pressure from the Left to get us here; we had best dedicate ourselves to an effort of similar scope and duration.

I hope you and my husband are right. I will rejoice when we repeal Obamacare.

Eighty years? Try indefinitely. I don't think the liberals will ever go away and their damage is like gaining weight. It takes a day to put it on and two weeks to get it off.

After November we have another two years of suspense. And I like ~Paules' suggestion of flaming bamboo shoots. I think we're going to need them.

I like Churchill's quote after the air war known as The Battle of Britain: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

Do cats wear hats? My other strategy is to just wait until the Ricochet adults leave the room. I like your caption, by the way.

Cats wear hats but only with spats. I think your familiarity with 50 cal weaponry probably keeps the Ricochet editors in line. Thanks for the caption vote. I'm going to get in on a write in ballot.
